Lori Vallelunga, Ph.D.

Dr. Vallelunga is Hope’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Development.  She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Memphis.  She completed predoctoral fellowships in Clinical Child Psychology at Harvard Medical School/Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Vallelunga worked in the healthcare industry fro 15 years prior to joining The Hope Institute.  She has expertise in strategic planning, business development, systems development, program evaluation, and performance management.  She also has considerable experience in the deisgn, development
and implementation of innovative programs and services.  She has overseen the start-up, development and operation of community-based mental health and healthcare centers, public schools, and a variety of child and family services.  Dr. Vallelunga has conducted performance management of hospital
operations, outpatient cardiac, cancer and autism centers, and rehabilitation facilities.

Dr. Vallelunga has practiced as a pscyhologist in clinical settings, healthcare settings, and private practice.  She has served in a faculty capacity at Elmhurst College, Robert Morris College, Argosy University, and Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.  She has served administratively in
healthcare settings, hospital systems, public education, and non-profit organizations.
