Autism Awareness Month

Join us for a celebration of Autism Awareness Month

April is Autism Awareness Month, a global effort to raise awareness and world attention on the issues affecting those with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The Hope Institute for Children and Families is proud to join this global effort by launching innovative and refreshing programs to help raise Autism Awareness.

29000.org

On April 1st, Hope debuted a new autism awareness website, www.29000.org.

There are 29,000 children in Illinois with an autism spectrum disorder. The website offers the public an opportunity to learn what autism is, the signs of autism, and the opportunity to “Add your voice” to theirs!
